After reportedly getting far in the audition process for the Man of Steel himself, Nicholas Hoult is in talks to play Lex Luthor in James Gunn’s Superman: Legacy. Despite both the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, the film is still on track for a July 2025 release date. More importantly, it will be Gunn’s first official attempt at paving over the Snyderverse and pretending it never happened. LFG. (Deadline)
