What has happened since Paul Manafort was convicted on 8 counts, and Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to eight counts, two of which implicate the President? Well, Trump railed once again that there was no collusion; he attended a rally in West Virginia in which the audience unironically chanted “Lock her up!” and Stormy Daniels tweeted.

Cohen’s likely not done, either.

Meanwhile, two of Trump’s first political supporters, Rep. Duncan Hunter and Rep. Chris Collins, are both under indictment. Hunter was indicted today for using campaign funds for personal expenses. To wit:

By the way, Hunter cannot be removed from the ballot in CA.

At this juncture, Duncan Hunter’s name will remain on the ballot regardless of what he chooses to do. No other GOP candidate can run for CA-50. The only way to remove his name is if that is ordered by a judge. That is a huge development in race for control of US House.
