Hellllo! And welcome to the second half of February! Weird. January lasted, I don’t know, approximately 89 days, right? Like, it was at least 3 months long. Wasn’t it? And yet it’s already the middle of February? Something fishy is going on here. I don’t know what exactly, but I know it’s something. And it’s probably something that portly, f%cking, a$$hole muskrat thing did. The groundhog thing in Gobbler’s Knob, I mean. But the other one you thought I was talking about is probably the culprit.

Kid Rock appeared on Bill Maher last night (I know, I know!) and said that Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime performance was “the epitome of DEI blowing up,” but I think he meant to complement the performance, but he somehow does it in the most racist way possible: “Kendrick Lamar goes out there and basically turns DEI into an IED. It’s all Black people, or all people of color, speaking to his crowd in the hood, Black people. It was like the most exclusive thing ever and I’m like, ‘F— yeah, that’s awesome.’ I’m laughing my ass off.” I’m not sure that Kid Rock has any idea what he’s saying. (Deadline)

After Chappell Roan’s Grammy speech calling out label execs for their lack of health care coverage for artists, Jeff Rabhan wrote an article for The Hollywood Reporter telling Roan that record labels “are businesses not charities” and she should “put her money where her mouth is.” So she did. And so far, Sabrina Carpenter, Charli XCX, and Noah Kahan have joined her. - (Yahoo)

A lot of great moments in the SNL50 concert, but the Lonely Island medley with Lady Gaga and Eddie Vedder — in the Michael Bolton role — probably tops them all.

I know Valentine’s Day was yesterday, but I wrote this on Friday, so technically, this is still Valentine’s Day… yeah, it makes perfect sense in my head. So, here’s Charlie!
