Congratulations to Jeremy Renner for completely changing our opinion of him in 2015. He really turned things around, transforming from a well-biceped super hero to a garbage fire of a human. Impressive. (Lainey)

When it comes to two of my greatest loves in the world— Star Wars and Disneyland— approaching their convergence, I don’t know how to keep my hopes down to a reasonable level. I spend a lot of time trying to figure it out, though. (The Kernel)

Jennifer Lawrence told Andy Cohen (or at least HEAVILY implied) that she has at least kissed Liam Hemsworth. Her exact words were “Liam’s real hot. What would you have done?” On the one hand yes he is an attractive man, but on the other, GALE IS THE WORST. NO KISSING GALE. (Vanity Fair)

Also from Vanity Fair, I think we may have figured out why Harrison Ford has dropped the curmudgeonness and seems so happy to be back doing Star Wars. (VF)

Someone made an Emo Kylo Ren Twitter account and the bio is “Ren’s Rights Activist.” Semi-serious question: do you think it’s possible to die or at least injure yourself from being just TOO delighted? This entire account makes me worry. (Twitter)

I don’t think Sisters was as good a movie as Neighbors, though I really did like it. Still, this breakdown of how it was reviewed (with the latter movie used for comparison), broken down by the gender of the reviewer, is pretty infuriating. (HuffPo)

This is a really great profile of Marc Maron’s WTF podcast, and the term “recovering monologuist” is the best description of Maron I’ve ever heard. (The Atlantic)

What do you think of Dustin’s 10 Best Shows list? I want Master of None about 5 spots higher up. (Uproxx)

"Have you ever picked up a book just because you had a good feeling about it? You’ve never heard of it, don’t recognize the author, and don’t even know what it’s about?" The Legacy of Lost Things by Aida Zilelian began that way for Cannonballer KM Bezner. It also happened to be one of the rare instances when an impulse buy not only met, but exceeded expectations. Find out just what was so great about this debut novel. (Cannonball Read 7)
