I am loving Hugh Grant’s press tour for Florence Foster Jenkins. He’s been at peak charm all week, but also really honest and personable (see his previous hotdog story) in a way that, maybe cynically on my part, feels like he’s angling for a Robert Downey Jr-esque career reinvention. Now he’s totally owning his permanent bachelor image, saying marriage is unromantic, and that “only the bible or something” thinks lifetime monogamy is a good idea. (Celebitchy)

We talked yesterday about what Emily Ratajkowski wore to meet Brett Ratner/the Secretary-General of the U.N. Here’s what Mariah Carey wore to the same event. I’m starting to think this might not be our kind of party. (DListed)

And I can’t stop watching these balance beam recovery GIFs.

Kristy interviewed Diane Kruger and asked her why she isn’t a huge star. Kruger has a lot of words on her own choices, sexism, and also uses the phrase “mind-gobbling,” my new favorite descriptor. (Indiewire)

All the Easter eggs, callbacks, and explainers you want for this week’s crazy Mr. Robot episode. (Uproxx)

John Lewis wrote a Civil Rights era comic book, and it looks amazing. Amazing in the kind of way that absolutely destroys you. (AV Club)

Happy 10th birthday to Step Up, which is basically Good Will Hunting but with dancing. (Mashable)

Dumplin’ showed up in a few Cannonball Read reviews a few weeks ago and it sounded like something right up The Mama’s alley. So when it appeared on her library’s digital download site, she snapped it up and read it in about two or three days. "You guys. It’s fantastic… I’m not her target audience (by about twenty five years - ack!), but Murphy spoke to me like Judy Blume and Cynthia Voigt did all those years ago." (Cannonball Read 8)

Happy Friday! You’re all Olympians to me.
