In the immediate aftermath of Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa’s bodies being found in their Santa Fe, New Mexico home, the situation went from what looked like carbon monoxide poisoning to something much more suspicious and possibly darker. However, new information has come to light that paints a still tragic, but less sinister passing of the elderly couple. Hackman’s pacemaker reportedly recorded its “last event” on February 17, which is believed to be the date of his death. As for Arakawa, authorities now say there is “uncertainty over the order of the couple’s deaths.” (Variety)
