Cyndi Lauper would like everyone to know that her dear friend Sharon Osbourne is not racist even though, OK, she said some racist things. On that note, my deepest apologies to any Cyndi fans out there. Your fave is now, as the kids say, problematic. (Celebitchy)

Nart enjoyed Lauren Ho’s The Last Tang Standing even though the main character wasn’t likable. "This book teaches you patience. Andrea is very real, which means she needs to be taught the same damn lesson 100 times before it sticks, just like the rest of us." Which are your favorite books with unlikable characters? (Cannonball Read 13)
I don’t know why this made me laugh so hard, but it’s probably because I used to be self-conscious as hell about going to the bathroom in a girl’s apartment the first time I stayed for the weekend. (Obviously, I’m not talking about a quick number one, or I would’ve died from a burst bladder in my 20s.)
