After Marvel dropped Jonathan Majors within minutes of his conviction for domestic assault, rumors started spreading that the studio was eyeing up Colman Domingo to take over the role of Kang the Conqueror. The character was set to be the next Thanos-level threat, so it behooved Marvel to find a replacement soon. Here’s the thing though, Domingo actually did meet with Marvel, but only after the rumors started. He took a pass. (Variety)
