Shortly after Thor: Love and Thunder hit, there were rumors that Chris Hemsworth is ready to go back to a more serious take on the Viking god because Taika Waititi went too far making his follow-up to Ragnarok too “jokey.” At the time, it was easy to write off those rumblings as internet wiener boys who were mad that the movie went “woke” by having a “girl Thor” a.k.a. Natalie Portman’s Mighty Thor, who’s been a major player in the comics for almost a decade now. Well, it turns out the dorks were right-ish. Hemsworth openly admits that Love and Thunder got too silly, and he actually agrees with his kid’s friends when they dunk on him for it. That said, he’s not opposed to coming back as Thor, but only if it’s something creative, and most importantly, “different.” (Variety)
