Bill O'Reilly Threatened to End the Career of the Woman Who Ended His Because Karma, Motherf**kers
I think some of you listen to the Richard Simmons is Missing podcast, or at least, I know I’ve seen it mentioned here before. According to this, Mr. Sunshine himself is not missing, but he has been recently hospitalized. I don’t listen to the podcast (there are just TOO MANY good ones and I can’t keep up!) so I don’t know if this will change minds or not, but feel free to let me know about it in the comments. - (Dlisted)
Having seen the original Going in Style with George Burns and Art Carney, I was kind of looking forward to seeing this updated version with Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, and Alan Arkin, but it sounds like I can wait until it’s available on Netflix or TBS. - (Lainey)
In a fascinating footnote to Bill O’Reilly’s firing yesterday, in 2015 O’Reilly told Emily Steel, “I am coming after you with everything I have. You can take it as a threat.” Two years later, Steel wrote the NYTimes article that took down O’Reilly. Fuck. Yes. (Uproxx)
Goat Pajama Party.
Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad fans: Some of the callbacks in this week’s BCS episode were insane, and you almost certainly missed them. (Uproxx)
It’s kind of hard for Zoe Saldana to look bad, but goddamn, does she need to look this good?! - (GFY)
I mean, it’s basically exactly the same, so you’re going to have to try REALLY hard to spot the differences. - (Deadspin)
Ina Garten talks about how she and husband of 48 years (!) Jeffrey decided she didn’t want to have children. It annoys me that it even has to be addressed that someone decided that they didn’t want to have children. Why is that STILL something that women have to answer for/explain? - (Celebitchy)
If you’re curious about Ben Affleck’s dating life, yeah, he’s fucking someone. (LG)
On the advice of another Cannonballer, Fiat.Luxury read The Unseen World by Liz Moore. Now, she wants everyone to read it. She doesn’t want to give away too much, you should go in unspoiled. "One of my favorite things about this book is how Moore so deftly describes the pangs of early teenagehood." What books do you wish everyone would read? (Cannonball Read 9)
