Because Johnny Depp played a funny pirate from 2003 to 2007, he’s essentially been given a free pass to get blitzed out of his mind and beat women while leaving a text message paper trial of his crimes. The UK court system found him guilty of being a spousal abuser, but damn, if an American jury didn’t bend over backwards for ol’ Cap’n Jack. So with that in mind, who can honestly blame Amber Heard for quitting Hollywood and moving to Madrid? I sure don’t.
