If you don’t want to wade through the entire fall premiere schedule, Dustin has the highlights. September, we are ready for you. (Uproxx)

As much as I love YA stuff, I’m really looking forward to the day that Mae Whitman (who is 27) plays an adult woman in a movie geared towards an adult audience, and thus never has to walk a red carpet in 100+ degree heat (which it was in LA this weekend) at an event sponsored by Sour Patch Kids. But if that’s what she has to do, at least she looks great doing it. (Go Fug Yourself)

Taylor Swift is famous for “friend collecting” and for bringing her famous friends out on stage during her concerts. It’s all about encouraging female support and empowerment and making Katy Perry feel bad. Or something. Anyway, at a show this weekend, Taylor brought out two major— and majorly outside the box— new friends: Joan Baez and Julia Roberts. And trust me, you want to watch the video here where Julia Roberts tries to sexydance. It will make your day. (Lainey)

Christine Ouzounian (aka The Nanny) reportedly wants a reality show because OBVIOUSLY THAT’S WHAT SHE WANTS. She apparently wants it to be in the vein of The Bachelorette or Dancing With the Stars, because— and this is my favorite line ever written in anything ever— “she knows she most likely can’t go back to nannying.” First of all, YA THINK? Second, only in LA is getting your own reality show a viable backup plan to a failed nannying career.

With all the sh*t that went wrong on the set of Fantastic Four, it’s no surprise that the notoriously volatile Josh Trank and the notoriously douchey Miles Teller got into a spectacular chest-bumping pissing contest of a near-fistfight. (Celebitchy)

SNL has announced the first three shows of their season, and it’s a solid ramp up of excitement.

Donald Trump has said a lot of stupid, racist, sexist stuff, but claiming he’s Batman? Now he’s gone too far. (Mashable)

Here’s an interesting and frustrating question: with so few movies being made about queer women, why are so many of them so bad? (BuzzFeed)

If you had a cool teacher who didn’t mind assigning a book that still makes lists of banned/challenged books, you might have read Kurt Vonnegut’s Slaughterhouse Five in high school. If not, it’s up to you to seek it out like Cannonballer Ardaigle did. She gave this classic that had been on her "to read" list 5 stars. So we ask you, have you read it? Or is it still on your list? (Cannonball Read 7)
