Let’s be honest, Zendaya would look good in sweats and an old ripped t-shirt. She can wear anything and make it fashion. But she (and Law Roach) also knows how to make fashion fashion and she can work it where others could not. - (GFY)

Narfna Cannonballed (52 reviews, yay!) on Alyssa Cole’s An Unconditional Freedom. The Civil War-era romance focuses on a free Black man who becomes a Union spy after being rescued from abduction and slavery, and the biracial daughter of a plantation owner, spying for the Confederacy. Narfna enjoyed this book by Cole more than her contemporary romances. "I think maybe it’s because they’re such hardcore historical fiction, and with this one especially, the focus is almost equally split between historical detail, individual character arcs/growth, and the romance plot." Have you read anything by this rising star in the romance genre? (Cannonball Read 11)
Finally, Mitch McConnell’s Twitter account tweeted a GIF of Adam Scott’s Parks and Rec character in reference to Trump’s statement that he would fill a Supreme Court seat in an election year despite saying he didn’t for Merrick Garland in 2020. Adam Scott’s response?

Please refrain from using my image in support of anything but your own stunning & humiliating defeat.

Mitch McConnel’s Twitter account responded with this (and I will grant that it’s a funny comeback):
Adam Scott, however, got the last dig in.
