Cher’s ability at 71 to do 3-5 minutes planks is damn impressive! However, her ability to say exactly what needs to be said sometimes is even more impressive. I’m loving the comments about “Cher Hair” and how she and Sonny didn’t dress like anyone else when they started out: I’m totally dating myself here, but I remember watching their show when I was a little girl and used to try to make Cher costumes and headdresses with blankets and towels and would have given ANYTHING to have that beautiful, long, straight black hair! - (Celebitchy)

So last night there was maybe a smidge of confusion in the comments as to whether Lainey from Lainey Gossip and I are the same person. Alas, we are not. She is delightful and wonderful, though, and we both seem to treat our birthdays as if they should be national holidays (hers is today, mine is in February) so if I’m going to be mistaken for anyone, I’m happy for it to be her! She got Idris (sort of) for her birthday. I’m going to start wishing for Momoa for mine! - (Lainey)

I don’t pretend to know a lot about the intricacies of politics and policies in the Middle East, but this seems like HUGE news - In what is hopefully a very positive first step toward equality (and thanks to the women who tirelessly petitioned for it), Saudi Arabia has lifted the ban on women driving. - (HuffPo)

Jared Leto is Letoing about Rio with a crowd. I don’t know what he’s wearing, I mean, other than Gucci, he’s wearing Gucci. I guess I mean more of a I don’t know WHY he’s wearing what he’s wearing. But MOSTLY, his face fur is very… well, it’s very furry! It’s too damn hot to have that much face fur, JARED. - (GFY)

The CEO of Equifax has resigned (ed note: uh-huh, sure, I’m sure it was voluntary) following the data breach that may have exposed 144+ million Americans’ private financial information to hackers. I’m sure he’s going to spend his “retirement” fishing and gardening and golfing, but first he’ll be meeting with the Senate Banking Committee. Ooooh, fun! Can’t wait to see pictures! - (Gizmodo)

The King and Queen of Shiplap are calling it quits. Not their marriage, just their show. Chip and Joanna Gaines are ending Fixer Upper after the 5th season. I’m sure this will devastate some (probably my sister-in-law), but I feel like most of you either don’t know who they are or don’t care. If you need a refresher, Courtney wrote about how their gross
church is anti-gay and promotes LGBT conversion therapy. Seems like a swell bunch of folks. /s - (Dlisted)

Site favorite Natalie Morales went to the premiere of Battle of the Sexes, where she stars alongside Emma Stone and Steve Carell. It was a huge night for her. Then some scuzzo sent her some pictures. You can read the details here from her Twitter thread.

Yet ANOTHER Kardjennerashian is pregnant! Momma Kris is definitely working on a Keeping Up with the Kardashian Kidlets, because DAYUM! Now it’s Khloé. She’s ALLEGEDLY pregnant with boyfriend Tristan Thompson’s baby. (Heads up: autoplay video in link) - (EW)

Speaking of Tristan, Dwyane Wade will be joining him (and LeBron James, obvs) in Cleveland. Wade looks to be moving to the Cavaliers for a 1-year deal. I’m only reporting this because I JUST LEFT NE OHIO and NOW Gabrielle Union is going to be hanging out there? I’m sure Khloe’s going to try to chum up with her, but I think Gabrielle’s too good for that. I hope she gives her some Clovers treatment (3 people will get that) - (SBNation)

Attempts to censor Bret Easton Ellis’ American Psycho began before it was published—the original publishing house dropped it in response to an outcry over scenes of graphic violence. Cannonballer bonnie revisited it after a student pointed out Donald Trump is referenced several times. "Bret Easton Ellis saw a fragile thread of masculinity, tied up in consumerism, racism, misogyny, and violence, and explored it to its logical end." Have you read this controversial masterwork? (Cannonball Read 9)

Rumors started floating around yesterday, but today it was confirmed: Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie are engaged. Whaddya know! Jon Snow knows something, after all. (People)

And, if you’re interested, here’s the latest on the mounting sexual assault allegations against Harry Knowles and the troubled Austin film scene. (Daily Beast and IndieWire)
