And since it’s also April Fool’s Day and full of people lying badly, here’s a good list of people lying and getting called out on it. - (Buzzfeed)
This is all VERY premature, we’ll try it out of town in San Francisco. https://t.co/kiyzHrqmho— Lin-Manuel Miranda (@Lin_Manuel) April 1, 2018
It had an awesome cast (Mark Rylance as Wiseau) and an entire track list (“Oh Hai, Mark”), but Miranda only kept the joke going for all of 21 minutes. Dude. A good April Fool’s prank leaves them hanging for at least a few hours, bro. Even after they’ve figured it out, you can’t reveal the truth — you have to leave them doubting themselves until at least mid-afternoon. “Was it a joke? Was it real? I mean, it HAS to be a joke, right? But why isn’t he saying so? Maybe it’s real. IS IT REAL? OH MY GOD I BET IT’S REAL.” That’s the moment when you announce that it’s a prank.
Okay. Happy April Fools. https://t.co/74RZj1FTlS— Lin-Manuel Miranda (@Lin_Manuel) April 1, 2018
A liar says what? The one in the White House said nobody had ever heard of the word “trillions” a decade ago. The Washington Post decided not to let that comment go. - (WP)
As an Indiana resident, this delights me! I don’t watch Will & Grace anymore, but I love the crap out of the showrunner, Max Mutchnick. - (TMS)
Hope Hicks’s final day was last Thursday, so I think we’re in for quite a time in the upcoming weeks. This is especially true if Trump really is going to be his own Communications Director (and Chief of Staff?). - (Celebitchy)

There’s so much great teevee right now, so I’m baffled as to why A League of Their Own is being made into a series. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ - (Dlisted)
If you miss The Station Agents, the podcast Dustin, Joanna, and Josh Kurp used to do for weekly television, you might enjoy Trends Like These with Travis McElroy (the middlest brother), Brent Black, and some lady named Courtney Enlow. - (Maximum Fun)
If you’re still watching The Walking Dead and you’re wondering who Negan’s passenger is in tonight’s The Walking Dead, here are some theories. (Uproxx)
When ingres77 picked up David Morrell’s First Blood, he was expecting the jingoistic patriotism of the Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo movies. He was surprised to find that the book is not about a patriot vs corruption. "Morrell’s Rambo is about the political divide that nearly tore the country apart … and the generational gulf that led to so much animosity between the baby boomers and their parents." What book has surprised you after having seen the movie first? (Cannonball Read 10)
