I’ve spent a lot of time in the world of The Handmaid’s Tale over the last few months, as you’ll know from the sheer length of the recaps, and even though it is the most depressing and upsetting show to watch on TV, there are a few brighter moments. One of those is O-T Fagbenle’s portrayal of Luke.

I was one of the cynical ones at first, because Book Luke never really appealed. But when I’m wrong, I say I’m wrong. Fagbenle’s Luke is Cute As A Button, and so I hereby present to you my case for Fagbenle’s place on your Pajiba 10 list.

For any of you that find a British accent delightful, congratulations! O-T was born in London to Anglo-Nigerian parents. He’s a RADA graduate and a talented musician, and he has worked in theatre, film and TV. According to iMDb, O-T volunteers in schools as well, putting on free drama and music classes for children. He’s a Thoroughly Good Egg. Here he is, in a video for Equality Now, with his Handmaid’s Tale co-star Madeline Brewer:

It’s moments like this where Luke shines — in his role as Chief Hugger of Traumatised Refugees:

O-T’s not just adorable and good; he’s also ridiculously hot…

Suited and booted ;) check out my link in the bio for some Wednesday jokes !

If you have any doubts at all about my choice, prepare yourself. Here he is, playing the saxophone on Sunday Brunch:
