Michael B. Jordan Is the Vampire Snack in the Trailer for Ryan Coogler’s ‘Sinners’

We got our first look at Michael B. Jordan in Ryan Coogler’s upcoming Sinners back in September. And if you want to stop there, no one will blame you. Knowing too much about a movie before it comes out is a curse.

But hear me out. This trailer is super hot. Coogler and Jordan could have teamed up to make a movie about bootleggers, gun runners, sharecroppers in the Dust Bowl, or whatever, and it would have been captivating and sultry. In Sinners, we get two times the usual amount of Michael B. Jordan, and we also get vampires. Not just vampires but Hailee Steinfeld and Michael B. Jordan vampires.

Say less, Coogler. Say less. You already have my money.

I support this cultural moment vampires are having. You may be thinking “Maybe we’ve had enough vampire stories” after Interview With The Vampire, Salem’s Lot, Abigail, and Egger’s remake of Nosferatu. But here comes Coogler with a bold new story and anti-heroes we want to root for.

Sinners opens in theaters on April 18th
