Netflix’s upcoming movie, Havoc, is the stuff violent, Pajiban dreams are made of. It’s written and directed by Gareth Evans (The Raid, Gangs of London), and stars Tom Hardy, Jessie Mei Li (Shadow & Bone), Justin Cornwell (Bel-Air), Luis Guzmán, former mixed martial artist Michelle Waterson, Timothy Olyphant, and Forest Whitaker.

Did we retire “Take my money?” Because Netflix already has my money, but they can have more of it for this movie.

Havoc premieres on Netflix on April 25th.

Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively reprise their roles from A Simple Favor in the upcoming sequel, Another Simple Favor. I assume there’s a moment where Lively’s character tells Kendrick’s character “I just have one other simple favor to ask you.” And then Anna Kendrick rolls her eyes so hard they fall out of her head.

The original was middling, but it’s the only thing I’ve ever seen that I liked Blake Lively in, so I might give this a watch. Also, it’s always fun to spend time looking at Italian scenery.

Another Simple Favor begins streaming on Prime Video on May 1st.

Remember a couple of months ago when those pictures of Josh Hartnett with the trashy bleach-blond hair were going around? That look is from Fight Or Flight. Charithra Chandran (Eternals), Katee Sackhoff, Marko Zaror, and Rebecka Johnston (Midsommar) also star in this ultraviolent action movie. It’s like Snakes On A Plane but all of the snakes are assassins. Or Bullet Train but probably better? They had me with Josh Hartnett’s Magnum P.I. cosplay.

Fight Or Flight will premiere in theaters on May 9th.

For lagniappe this Mardi Gras weekend I present the first documentary written about riding the Staten Island Ferry. Never let your IP hit the public domain, y’all.
