Netflix has released a new trailer for the upcoming third season of Daredevil, offering a better look at the challenges facing our favorite lawyer-by-day/vigilante-by-night, Matt Murdock. In addition to him being, you know, alive and all, it looks like his old foe Wilson Fisk has cut a deal and gotten out of prison. And though the Kingpin appears to be under house arrest, that doesn’t mean he can’t stir up sh*t. Like, oh I dunno, hiring a Daredevil impersonator to ruin Matt’s alter ego’s image and turn the city of New York against him? Take a look…

The question is: who could possibly convincingly pull the kinds of crazy coordinated stunts Matt Murdock can, but as a bad guy? And I mean…

It’s Bullseye, right? It HAS to be. It’s surprising that they haven’t already introduced the character before now, and it’d be even more unbelievable for the series to hold out any longer. Like Matt, Bullseye is basically an ordinary person, albeit one with some extraordinary talents. In his case, it’s the ability to turn any object into a lethal projectile, which requires the kind of precise body coordination that Matt also possesses. Only Bullseye uses it to be a big ol’ villain and kill people.

It’s been rumored for a while that new cast member Wilson Bethel, who is credited as “FBI Agent” on IMDb, would be playing a character from the comics. And this isn’t even the first time rumors of him playing Bullseye have surfaced. But now that we know a bit more about the plot of the season (and now that we know there will be a Daredevil impersonator that looks a helluva lot like Bethel), I think we can safely say:

Netflix didn’t bring back Colin Farrell to play Bullseye.
