We already knew that Netflix was going full-on Hallmark this holiday season, with a sleigh-full of Very Special Specials to get us in the mood. But it’s not all magic advent calendars and sexy, Kurt Russell-y Santas and baking Brits — because this year the Spellmans are getting in on the festivities! Netflix released a new sizzle reel for their holiday programming (“It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Netflix”, natch), which revealed the release date and title for the upcoming Sabrina episode:

“Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter’s Tale,” arriving on December 14th, will look at how Sabrina and the Church of Night celebrate the Winter Solstice. Which apparently means: light up a Yule Log, sing “pagan carols” (does Mariah Carey count?) and tell ghost stories. I’M IN.

Now, we knew there was speculation that Chilling Adventures of Sabrina would be returning with its second season early next year, perhaps even in time for Valentine’s Day, but “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter’s Tale” is more than just a holiday special — it’s actually the first installment of that next block of episodes. That doesn’t mean that Sabrina Part Two will be returning on December 14th, however. We’ll still have to wait until 2019 for the remaining 9 episodes of the next season to launch. But we just might get a hint of things to come, in the midst of all the holiday cheer.

Meanwhile, if Sabrina cracks any Satan/Santa jokes, do you think The Satanic Temple will file another lawsuit? Let’s hope whatever comes down the chimney doesn’t look too much like Baphomet…
