Loved the majesty, fantasy, and fun of Avatar: The Last Airbender? Well, set aside a weekend. Because Netflix is bringing you a new animated series you’re guaranteed to binge.
Written by Avatar: The Last Airbender’s head writer/director Aaron Ehasz, The Dragon Prince is a fantasy adventure that follows two human princes and an elfin assassin on an epic quest that will probably involve a dragon.
Check out the first look:

You can assume, based on the premise, this will have a heavy influence from Dungeons and Dragons. You might assume from Ehasz involvement, it will be a whimsical and moving mix of action, adventure, drama, and adorable critters. And because The Dragon Prince is the TV-directorial debut of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception director Justin Richmond, you could assume it’s going to have some kick-ass action sequences with jaw-dropping animation. Or you could stop speculating and take a look at its teaser trailer:
Yeah. We’re game.
The Dragon Prince hits Netflix September 14th.
