You Can Now Stay in the 'American Horror Story' Murder House

The first season of American Horror Story was probably the best, if for no other reason than the ending was truly shocking. They didn’t announce that the concept was an anthology until very close to or after the end of the first season, so the audience tended to assume people were safe, until the show proved that absolutely no one was. The setting was great also; the Alfred Rosenheim Mansion in Los Angeles was a suitably impressive yet imposing structure. It felt like it had a life of its own. So much so that it’s been a setting for other supernatural shows like The X-Files, Buffy, and The Twilight Zone.

And now it can be the setting for your next vacation! The house is now listed on AirBnB, for you and up to 15 guests. While I haven’t been able to find the exact listing, I’m pretty sure Variety wouldn’t lie to us about something like that. Perhaps the listing is so hot that it’s not showing up in searches anymore. Either way, next time you’re planning a trip to the LA area and have a budget for your accommodations somewhere around $1,500 a night, you could stay in this very famous and very recognizable location.
