We heard back in the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad month that was August that World of Warcraft would be introducing a new character as a tribute to Robin Williams.
.@robinwilliams Thank you. You gave us so much joy in our lives, and we hope you enjoyed your time in our world. We’ll see you in-game.

Williams was a fan of the game, and after fans petitioned, we were told there would be a Robin character in the new Warlords of Draenor expansion. Some beta version images have come out, and it turns out there are a few Robin-inspired NPCs to be found.
First, if you come across this lamp:
Give it a good rub to summon the Genie:
Close by, you can see this giant broken egg:
Familiar?
Along with this vaguely Morkish version of the “Robin” NPC:
There’s also a female version of “Robin” who is thought to be modeled after Mrs. Doubtfire.
Hopefully this is only the beginning, and more characters will keep popping up. I’d also like to request that Blizzard introduce a “Joan” NPC to ask all characters who they’re wearing as soon as they pick up a new piece of armor.
