Earlier this week, I posited the question: Just how stupid were Bruce Dallas Howard’s Jurassic World high heels? Go here for a refresher, but the basic arguments were apt character choice vs. flat-out absurdity. In the comments, between pictures of dinosaur-themed shoes, many of you said you would have been fine with the shoes if she ever, at any point, acknowledged how impractical they were and threw them off. I think a LOT of us spent the whole movie waiting for that moment. Unfulfilled practicalities aside, about 700 of you voted (or one of you did, with WAY too much time on your hands), and here’s how it all shook out:
It should be noted that for much of the week, there was a difference of between one and five votes between “Hate it” and “Don’t care,” which is the most perfect representation of opinions on the internet we could possibly hope for. Most of us don’t share our positive opinions of something nearly as often as we share our disappointment or feel the need to let everybody know just how much we don’t care about something. I love you, internet. Never change.
