I want to say that ‘Look for the helpers’ has started to become a cliché, but that word has too much negative stigma attached to it. Add to that the ongoing global pandemic and the late Mr Rogers’ simple and powerfully direct advice on how to get through tough times by focusing on examples of human kindness and solidarity really does feel like the phrase of the moment—alongside, as always, Eat The Rich, obviously. You could look at the scientists, as Dustin is doing. You could look at Cuba sending its world-class doctors around the globe to assist countries stricken and stretched to breaking point by COVID-19.

Or you could just look at other, unrelated acts of kindness and assistance. Times like this can put often near-overwhelming levels of stress and anxiety onto people, and a balm is a balm, whether it’s derived from something happening right now or not.
