As much as one can become a fan of an ad campaign, I grew to really appreciate Secret’s “Stress Test” series when I was binge watching Faking It on MTV and kept getting the same one of a young woman psyching herself up to demand a raise from her boss.
Yet somehow, I didn’t put two and two together when I was offered the chance to submit/audition for a new trans-inclusive spot from Secret as well. I obviously didn’t get it, but now the ad, “Ladies Room” has been released featuring Karis Wilde as a trans woman or genderqueer person in tense moment. It’s such a beautiful ad that I’m just excited it even exists. I’m not in this ad, but, I’ve been in this ad before.
