As news that thousands (okay, only 9) of skinny-jeaned hipsters were brought to their knees after discovering their new iPhone 6 bends under pressure hit the interwebs, competitor Samsung got in a nice jab:
Not for nothing, but when you sat down with it shoved in your front pocket,
what did you think would happen to that very thin, largely aluminum contraption? (H/T Skitz) Too busy sucking the whipped cream off your venti triple-shot orange mocha frappucchino?
Apple responded to complaints with a statement that the problem is “extremely rare,” and this video of their lab testing:
They also promise to replace the bent iPhones after passing a “Genius” visible mechanical inspection.
But Samsung may win yet with their own genius ad campaign:
