Tonight Spike TV continues their habit of creating shows that sound like things you and your friends at college would sit around and talk about sometime after 2am after all the beers and/or weed had been consumed. This week they have a special presentation about what the world would be like if the Nazis had won World War II. Honestly, the topic has the potential to be an informative and interesting one if it was discussed by historians and aired on the Discovery channel or possibly the History channel which is always up for some good Nazi programs. However, on Spike TV I’m guessing we’ll get a lot of attention focused on hot women who are Israeli who wouldn’t be around today. Still, I guess any excuse to ogle Bar Refaeli is a good one. Here’s your Wednesday night TV:
8:00pm: “Big Brother” on CBS
“Buried Treasure” on Fox. Series premiere.
“Famous Food” on VH1
“Madonna of the Mills” on HBO2
“I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant” on TLC
“Melissa and Joey” on ABC Family
“Minute to Win It” on NBC
9:00pm: “America’s Got Talent” on NBC
“Deadliest Warrior” on Spike TV. This week’s face off is Teddy Roosevelt versus Lawrence of Arabia. I don’t know anything about Lawrence of Arabia other than that there was a movie made about him starring Peter O’Toole, but I do know that Teddy Roosevelt once made a speech immediately after being shot while the bullet was still in his body so I know that I would not want to take my chances with him.
“Ghost Hunters” on SyFy. Seventh season summer premiere.
“Law and Order: UK” on BBCA
“Man vs. Food Nation” on Travel. First season finale.
“Operation Repo” on TruTV
“Outrageous Kid Parties” on TLC
“Roseanne’s Nuts” on Lifetime
“Royal Pains” on USA
“Sons of Guns” on Discovery
“Ton of Cash” on VH1
9:30pm: “Happy Endings” on ABC. This is a previously unaired episode that is part of the first season. Because airing episodes out of order and airing a season without episodes that were intended to be in the season is totally the way to make a new show work ABC. Just ask “Firefly.” Seriously, guys, I thought you were better than that.
10:00pm: “Alternatehistory” on SpikeTV. Special presentation.
“Confessions: Animal Hoarding” on Animal Planet. Third season premiere.
“Damanges” on DirecTV
“Dance Moms” on Lifetime
“The Hour” on BBCA
“Necessary Roughness” on USA
“Nightline Prime” on ABC
“The Real World/Road Rules Challenge” on MTV. 21st season finale.
“Rescue Me” on FX
“Restaurant: Impossible” on Food Network
“South Beach Tow” on TruTV
“Swamp Brothers” on Discovery. First season fall premiere.
“Toddlers and Tiaras” on TLC
“Top Chef Just Desserts” on Bravo. Second season premiere.
“Truck Stop: Missouri” on Travel
