Tonight nearly all the late night talk shows are in reruns so there’s even less than usual to watch on television. Unless you like preseason football, because there is some more of that on tonight. Speaking of football, we also have the return of “The TO Show” in case any of you watch it which, I kind of hope not because they look awful. I’m really trying to come up with more intelligent things to say about television but I’ve spent most of my day trying to teach two 18 month old German Shepherds how to not jump on people and learn the command ‘sit’ and I’m a little bit mentally and physically exhausted. Here’s your Monday night TV:
8:00pm: “Bachelor Pad” on ABC
“Basketball Wives” on VH1
“Eureka” on SyFy
“Giuliana and Bill” on Style
“Hell’s Kitchen” on Fox
“Monday Night Football: Preseason: Chicago at NY Giants” on ESPN
“The Secret Life of the American Teenager” on ABC Family
9:00pm: “American Ninja Warrior” on NBC
“Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations” on Travel. Mr.Bourdain will be visiting Kurtistan tonight, alternately called Kurdistan, which encompasses regions of both Iraq and Turkey. My grandfather was working in that area back in 2003 and one of the souvenirs he brought home was the largest “knife” that I had ever seen. It was like a mini-sword. Anyway, that’s about the extent of my personal knowledge of the region.
“The Bad Girls Club” on Oxygen
“The Closer” on TNT
“Hoarders” on A&E
“Kate Plus 8” on TLC. This show, thank god, has been cancelled so we’re on the last season. Same goes for “LA Ink.” Now, if only we can get the Duggars off the air we’ll be golden.
“La La’s Full Court Life” on VH1. Second season premiere.
“The Lying Game” on ABC Family
“Millionaire Matchmaker” on Bravo
“RuPaul’s Drag U” on Logo
“Tia and Tamera” on Style
“Top Gear” on BBCA. 17th season premiere. Guest is Alice Cooper.
“Warehouse 13” on SyFy
“WWE: RAW” on USA
9:30pm: “Lizard Lick Towing” on TruTV
“The TO Show” on VH1. Third season premiere.
10:00pm: “The A-List” on Logo
“Alphas” on SyFy
“Bear Swamp Recovery” on TruTV. Series premiere.
“The Best Thing I Ever Ate” on Food Network. Fifth season finale.
“Hair Battle Spectacular” on Oxygen
“Intervention” on A&E
“Most Eligible Dallas” on Bravo. I thought this was another dating show, but it’s another reality show about a group of friends in Dallas who are probably more horrible than the average Dallas person but that will describe themselves as absolutely normal.
“RFK in the Land of Apartheid: A Ripple of Hope” on PBS
“Rizzoli and Isles” on TNT
“Surprise Homecoming” on TLC. First season finale.
“Weeds” on Showtime
10:30pm: “The Big C” on Showtime
