Pajiba After Dark: Definitely Not the Ones With Words On the Butt Though, That's Tacky
Because I’m currently job hunting I don’t always have a firm grasp on things like “what day it is” or “am I wearing pants” (seriously, have we all decided that yoga pants count or no? No, then. Ok, that’s cool) so I briefly got excited with all the Harry Potter pictures because I thought it might be premiering this weekend but NO. Stupid internet. Anyway, it means that I’m far more underwhelmed by tonight’s television offerings than I would be otherwise. And really, real housewives and “Big Brother” are happening on the same night? So it’s just turned into a vortex of “your life is boring so here, watch these other people’s boring lives to feel better because we’re still pretending that’s entertainment” and bleh. Almost makes me want to cancel cable. Then I remember it’s included in my rent. For now. Here’s your Thursday (right? Yeah, ok, good.) night TV:
8:00pm: “An American Family: Anniversary Edition” on PBS
“So You Think You Can Dance” on Fox
“Wipeout” on ABC
9:00pm: “Big Brother” on CBS. 13th season premiere. Wait, this is still happening? I didn’t even think that anyone really watched the show the first season never mind all the way until now. Also, I swore it was online now, not still airing on a major network.
“Burn Notice” on USA
“Expedition Impossible” on ABC
“The First 48” on A&E
“Police Women” on TLC. Sixth season finale.
“Swamp People” on History
10:00pm: “Extreme Chef” on Food Network
“The First 48” on A&E
“Futurama” on Comedy Central
“Love Bites” on NBC
“NY Ink” on TLC
“The Real Housewives of New York City” on Bravo
“Rookie Blue” on ABC
“Suits” on USA
“Swords: Life on the Line” on Discovery. Third season finale.
“True Life” on MTV
“Wilfred” on FX
10:30pm: “Louie” on FX
“Ugly Americans” on Comedy Central
12:00am: “Children’s Hospital” on Adult Swim. I’m liking all the “Children’s Hospital” love that’s been flying around the site lately, because if you’re a doctor show addict of any stripe it’s hilarious. And since I can remember watching the beautiful disaster that was “E.R” when I was ten years old, that is precisely what I am.
Late Night Listings
“The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on NBC featuring Kevin James and “The Voice” winner Javier Colon
“The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” on CBS featuring Thomas Lennon and Tatum O’Neal
“Chelsea Lately” on E featuring Jason Sudeikis, Bobby Lee, Jen Kirkman, and Josh Wolf
