Pajiba After Dark: This Doesn't End Well For the Lamb, I Think

Apparently Tuesday night should be temporarily renamed Gordon Ramsay night for the time being, because there are three shows hosted by the foul-mouthed Brit airing tonight. Two of them are on Fox, one of them is on BBCA and one of the ones on Fox (“Masterchef”) directly competes with the one one BBCA (“Gordon Ramsay’s Great Escape”). I’m completely impressed that the man has managed to create this kind of media empire out of being kind of a salty British chef (and really, is there any other kind? I think ‘salty’ applies to all chefs, regardless of nationality). I know he won’t be the reigning favorite celebrity chef around these parts unless Anthony Bourdain forswears television, but I guess he’s not a bad back-up. Here’s your Tuesday night TV:

8:00pm: “Cupcake Wars” on Food Network

“Hell’s Kitchen” on Fox

“History Detectives” on PBS

“It’s Worth What?” on NBC

“Pretty Little Liars” on ABC Family

9:00pm: “101 Ways to Leave a Game Show” on ABC. First season finale. Last while working with the children I noticed that there were some kids whose behavior could not be corrected by threats of running laps because they liked running better than they liked what they were supposed to be doing. I wonder if there are people who go on this game show with a similar mindset, mostly because this episode is called “Drop me, man! Just drop me, drop me!!”

“19 Kids and Counting” on TLC

“America’s Got Talent” on NBC

“Deadliest Catch” on Discovery. Seventh season finale.

“Flipping Out” on Bravo

“Frontline: The Pot Republic” on PBS

“Gordon Ramsay’s Great Escape” on BBCA

“Hardcore Pawn” on TruTV

“Masterchef” on Fox

“Memphis Beat” on TNT

“The Nine Lives of Chloe King” on ABC Family

“White Collar” on USA

10:00pm: “Aftermath with William Shatner” on Bio

“Chopped” on Food Network

“Combat Hospital” on ABC

“Covert Affairs” on USA

“Deadliest Catch” on Discovery

“Gene Simmons Family Jewels” on A&E

“Hawthorne” on TNT. I have tried to watch this a few times, y’all, and it’s painful. PAINFUL. Although I had a real “whatsherface” moment with the one younger nurse until I just looked her up and found out she was one of the “Are You Afraid of the Dark?” kids which was kind of cool. Except now she’s on “Hawthorne” which is decidedly not cool.

“The Little Couple” on TLC

“POV: Mugabe and the White African by Lucy Bailey and Andrew Thompson” on PBS

“Storage Hunters” on TruTV

“Teen Mom” on MTV

“Tosh.0” on Comedy Central

“Toya” on BET. First season finale.

10:30pm: “Gene Simmons Family Jewels” on A&E. Seventh season finale.

11:00pm: “Awkward” on MTV
