Pajiba After Dark: It Just Looks Like She Got in a Fight With a Fork

For those of you who aren’t reading (or are done reading? I know jM got a head start of several hours on most of you) there’s some television on tonight. After a fashion, anyway. Really, I’m kind of mad because there’s nothing I can properly mock on. At best, we’ve got “The Nine Lives of Chloe King” and I think I’ve made “so it’s literally a pussified version of Wolverine?” joke before. Or did I make that somewhere else? And there’s the MLB All-Star game but I was under the impression that most All-Star games are somewhat uninteresting and just an excuse for a media/advertising circus. Honestly, none of this inspires me enough to put the energy into coming up with something really biting to say about it. So, here’s your Tuesday night TV if you’re into that sort of thing:

8:00pm: “Cupcake Wars” on Food Network

“2011 MLB All-Star Game” on Fox

“History Detectives” on PBS

“Pretty Little Liars” on ABC Family

9:00pm: “101 Ways to Leave a Game Show” on ABC

“19 Kids and Counting” on TLC

“America’s Got Talent” on NBC

“Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern” on Travel

“Deadliest Catch” on Discovery

“Flipping Out” on Bravo

“Gordon Ramsay’s Great Escape” on BBCA. Series premiere. Now we get to see Mr.Ramsay inflicted on other cultures! Because it worked so well when he was exported to the US.

“Memphis Beat” on TNT

“The Nine Lives of Chloe King” on ABC Family

“Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy” on History. First season finale.

“Staten Island Cakes” on WE

“White Collar” on USA

10:00pm: “48 Hours Mystery” on CBS. The topic is the Long Island serial killer which, I thought they had determined it was at least two different murderers? Also, at least one of them called a victim’s little sister after he had killed the woman and TAUNTED the kid about it. I thought that shit only happened in “CSI” and then they catch the guy approximately 44 minutes later so maybe I just need to go live in that world instead of this one.

“Aftermath with William Shatner” on Bio

“Chopped” on Food Network. Eighth season premiere.

“Combat Hospital” on ABC

“Covert Affairs” on USA

“The Cupcake Girls” on WE. Cupcake show #2 for the evening. And no, I won’t stop with this. During the regular TV season I can do it with cop/lawyer/doctor shows but off season I guess I’ve only got baked goods to fall back on.

“Deadliest Catch” on Discovery

“Gene Simmons Family Jewels” on A&E

“Hawthorne” on TNT

“How the States Got Their Shapes” on History. First season finale.

“The Little Couple” on TLC

“Million Dollar Decorators” on Bravo

“POV: Enemies of the People by Rob Lemkin and Thet Sambath” on PBS

“Storage Hunters” on TruTV

“Teen Mom” on MTV

“Tosh.0” on Comedy Central

“Toya: A Family Affair” on BET

11:00pm: “16 and Pregnant: Adoption Special” on MTV

Late Night Listings

“The Late Show with David Letterman” on CBS featuring Roseanne Barr, Tom Felton, and Blake Shelton

“The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on NBC featuring Seth Meyers, Marjorie Johnson, and Barry Manilow

“The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” on CBS featuring Julie Chen and Joss Stone

“Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” on NBC featuring Seth Green, Chris Evans, and Nikka Costa

“The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” on Comedy Central featuring Kid Rock

“The Colbert Report” on Comedy Central featuring Dan Savage
