I Kid Because I'm Thoroughly Creeped Out
Those of you who read Pajiba After Dark regularly know that I’m open to suggestions. That’s why you now get late night listings and why the time slots are now in bold type. Usually, I also keep an eye on the comments to see if anyone asks about a specific show. There’s a lot of crap on TV that no one watches, so I tend to only list shows I think you guys would be interested in but I’m open to suggestions. Respectfully made suggestions. Last week someone pointed out a show I hadn’t mentioned, except instead of saying something like “Hey [X Show] is on tonight too, did you miss it?” or “I’m going to be watching [X Show] tonight, you guys should check it out!” they were snitty and mean about it. Therefore, I will not be mentioning that show. Let this be a lesson to the rest of you. Here’s Wednesday night’s TV:
8:00 p.m.: “CMT Special: 2010 CMT Music Awards” on CMT. 150 minute special presentation.
“NBC Sports Special: NHL Stanley Cup FInals Game #6” on NBC.
“A Lincoln Center Special: Joshua Bell and Friends at the Penthouse” on PBS. I know who Joshua Bell is and what this means, but somehow adding “At the Penthouse” to the end of things just makes it sound tawdry.
“So You Think You Can Dance” on Fox.
“Tyler Perry’s House of Payne” on TBS.
“Weird or What?” on Discovery.
8:30 p.m.: “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne” on TBS.
9:00pm: “Are We There Yet?” on TBS. I swear I have yet to see Ice Cube in a commercial for this, despite learning that he is, in fact, heavily involved in it’s production. I guess that’s the benefit of not watching a lot of TBS.
“Dog the Bounty Hunter” on A&E.
“Ghost Hunters Academy” on SyFy.
“I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant” on TLC. Third season premiere. The scariest show on TV is BACK!
“Man vs. Food: Miami” on Travel. One hour third season premiere. How much rice and beans can one gringo take? Tonight, we find out.
“Mythbusters” on Discovery.
“The Ultimate Fighter” on Spike TV. New two hour episode at a special time.
“You’re Cut Off!” on VH1. Series premiere.
9:30 p.m.: “Are We There Yet?” on TBS.
“Dog the Bounty Hunter” on A&E.
“I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant” on TLC.
10:00 p.m.: “Billy the Exterminator” on A&E.
“Happy Town” on ABC.
“In Plain Sight” on USA.
“PBS Special: Girls From North Country” on PBS.
“Peep Show” on BBCA.
“The Real World/Road Rules Challenge” on MTV. 19th season finale.
“Toddlers and Tiaras” on TLC. Get a look at tomorrow’s strippers today!
“Top Chef Masters” on Bravo. Second season finale.
“Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns” on TBS.
