Goodbye to Glee. For Now.
The season finale of “Glee!” is on tonight, which has caused my sister to bounce around the living room like some kind of deranged bunny rabbit. I’m sure all you other Gleeks out there are just as excited, but perhaps more tempered in your reaction than easily excitable 14 year olds. I’m trying to figure out how they’ll shoe-horn in songs we’ve never heard before for this event that they’ve allegedly been preparing for all season. Honestly though, if you’re watching “Glee” for the plot, you’re missing the point. I think that’s true of all Ryan Murphy shows. Here’s Tuesday night’s TV:
8:00pm: “ABC Sports Special: Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night” on ABC
“Hell’s Kitchen” on Fox
“PBS Special: 4 Troops: Live From the Intrepid” on PBS
“Pretty Little Liars” on ABC Family. Series premiere.
8:30pm: “ABC Sports Special: NBA Countdown”
9:00pm: “America’s Got Talent” on NBC
“Bait Car: New Orleans” on TruTV. Third season premiere.
“Deadliest Catch” on Discovery
“Glee” on Fox. First season finale. The episode is titled “Journey” so… “Open Arms?” Reprise of “Don’t Stop Believing?” I really hope not, as it was always blatantly obvious that Finn can’t handle the lead vocals on that. Or on anything. I’m sure Cory Monteith is a very nice person, but damn does he not have the kind of voice to carry off the “OHMYGOD YOU’RESOAWESOME!” sort of reaction they’re looking for.
“One Big Happy Family” on TLC
“NBA Finals: Game 3”
9:30pm: “Bait Car: New Orleans” on TruTV. Is this like “To Catch a Predator” but for car thieves? That’s what it sounds like.
“One Big Happy Family” on TLC
“PBS Special: Love Train: The Sound of Philadelphia Part 2”
10:00pm: “Animal Planet Special: Human Bird” on Animal Planet. One hour special presentation.

“The Big Gay Sketch Show” on Logo
“Deadliest Warrior: Somali Pirate vs. Medellin Cartel” on Spike TV
“The Hills” on MTV
“Jersey Couture” on Oxygen
“Justified” on FX. First season finale.
“Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List: Kathy Griffin Does the Bible Belt” on Bravo. One hour special presentation.
