This is where I usually put my introduction, but I had a ton of work to do for my other internet based internship (That’s right, I have TWO online jobs I’m not getting paid for. Mom always said I was the smart one.) so we’re just gonna jump right into the TV:
8:00pm: “Hell’s Kitchen” on Fox
“History Special: 10 Ways to Kill Bin Laden” on History. Two hour special presentation. Only ten? They need to get the “Criminal Minds” and “CSI” writers in that room, those people can come up with about 200 different ways to kill someone on a bad day. Hell, I can probably come up with 50 off the top of my head if you catch me in the right mood. Step it up, History Channel.
“Losing it With Jillian” on NBC
“Pretty Little Liars” on ABC Family
“Wipeout” on ABC
9:00pm: “America’s Got Talent” on NBC
“Cupcake Wars: Ace of Cakes 100th Episode Celebration”
“Deadliest Catch” on Discovery
“Downfall” on ABC. This is one of those shows that people are going to look back on and ask us how this ever sounded like a good idea; they actively destroy the prizes you don’t win. Now, I vaguely remember another show that did this a few years back that also involved people deliberately putting themselves in pain before answering questions, but I can’t remember the title, channel, or anything else about it. Anyone else out there know what I’m talking about? I’m crazy, aren’t I?
“Frontline: Troubled Waters” on PBS
“Hawthorne” on TNT
10:00pm: “Ashes to Ashes” on BBCA. Second season finale.
“Chopped” on Food Network
“Deadliest Catch: After the Catch: The Wizard” on Discovery
“Deadliest Warrior: Vlad the Impaler Vs. Sun Tzu” on Spike TV. Again, not really warriors. But thanks for trying, Spike TV.
“The Hills” on MTV
“Jersey Couture” on Oxygen
“Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List” on Bravo
“Law and Order: Criminal Intent” on USA
“The Little Couple” on TLC
“Memphis Beat” on TNT
“PBS Special: POV: The Beaches of Agnes” on PBS
“Primetime” on ABC
“Rescue Me” on FX. Sixth season premiere.
10:30pm: “The City” on MTV
11:00pm: “Double Exposure” on Bravo
“Downtown Girls” on MTV. Has this been around for a while and I never noticed, because all that’s coming to mind with that title is the relatively recently deceased Brittany Murphy starring in a movie with… I wanna say Dakota Fanning? I doubt that’s what this is about.
“Louie” on FX. Series premiere.
Late Night Listings
“The Late Show with David Letterman” on CBS featuring Dolly Parton and Jonathan Atler
“Jimmy Kimmel Live” on ABC featuring Kevin James, Nikki Reed, and The-Dream
“The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” on CBS featuring Carl Reiner, Rebecca Mader, and Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings
“The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” on Comedy Central featuring Helen Mirren. Really? Man, there’s gonna be a Bunksplosion round the Pajiba Parts tonight.
“The Colbert Report” on Comedy Central featuring Mayor Julian Castro.
