Pajiba After Dark: What Does YOUR Drug Dealer Look Like?

“Weeds” returns tonight and I’ve seen most of the first season of that show but not much beyond that. I know that Nancy is one of those characters on TV that people love to hate since her chosen profession keeps driving her and her family further down the road of reprehensible behavior yet they like to maintain some sort of air of superiority. Or at least that was the last I’d heard of the whole mess, has it changed any? Those of you still watching, are you just watching because you find Mary-Louise Parker kind of dreamy? Are you in the habit of mistaking Justin Kirk for the guy who played Sheriff Don Lamb in “Veronica Mars” and thus watching “Weeds” out of misguided loyalty? (I’m not telling you how long it took me to realize they weren’t the same guy. Nope.) In any case, please feel free to discuss. This is a safe space. (…ok, maybe not exactly.) Here’s your Monday night TV:

8:00pm: “Antiques Roadshow” on PBS

“The Bachelorette” on ABC

“Basketball Wives” on VH1

“Gone” on Lifetime. Original telefilm.

“The Secret Life of the American Teenager” on ABC Family

“Too Fat for 15” on Style

9:00pm: “Cake Boss” on TLC

“Hot Coffee” on HBO. This is a documentary about tort reform in the US focusing on lawsuits that are either famously portrayed as “frivolous” (such as the titular McDonald’s coffee case), individuals who have been affected by tort reform laws, and the famous KBR/Halliburton case where a female employee was held captive and raped by coworkers in Iraq but couldn’t receive damages from the company due to a mandatory arbitration clause. So, you know, there’s that. Probably not a fun time, but interesting for people who are curious about the legal system and civil lawsuits.

“Hoarders” on A&E

“Masterchef” on Fox

“Off Limits” on Travel. First season finale.

“RuPaul’s Drag U” on Logo
