Tonight is a big night for many Pajibans, as a show many of us love, “Futurama,” comes back from the dead. To be quite honest, I have mixed feelings about this. I thought “The Devil’s Hands are Idle Playthings” put a sweet end on the series; not too melancholy but without giving some artificial-feeling resolution to any of the characters or overarching themes. Of course, I never watched any of the movies that came afterwards so I have no clue what those tried to do to the characters or continuity. I heard one of them tried to re-write the end of “Jurassic Bark” which makes me, like every other Pajiban out there, burst into wet, sloppy sobs, and that seems misguided at best. Anyway, I’ll be watching tonight, for better or for worse. Here’s tonight’s schedule:

8:00 p.m.: “Wipeout” on ABC. New episode on a special night.

8:30 p.m.: “100 Questions” on NBC.

9:00 p.m.: “Burn Notice” on USA.

“Police Women of Memphis” on TLC.

“The Real Housewives of New York City: The Lost Footage” on Bravo. One hour special presentation. I get the feeling most of that footage should stay lost.

“Rookie Blue” on ABC. Series premiere. Oh, good, another cop show.

“So You Think You Can Dance” on Fox.

10:00 p.m.: “Bethenny’s Getting Married?” on Bravo.

“Boston Med” on ABC. Series premiere. Oh, good, another doctor show.

“Futurama” on Comedy Central. Sixth season premiere.

“Mall Cops: Mall of America” on TLC.

“The OCD Project” on VH1.

“Penn and Teller: Bullshit” on Showtime. Tonight’s episode is on martial arts.

“Raising Sextuplets” on WE. Second season premiere.

“Royal Pains” on USA.

“TBS Special: How to Build the Perfect Grown Up” on TBS. One hour special presentation. I get the feeling that my readers could probably do a better job of this than TBS. How would you all build the perfect grown up?

10:30 p.m.: “Futurama” on Comedy Central.

“The Green Room With Paul Provenza” on Showtime.

Late Night Listings:

“The Late Show With David Letterman” on CBS featuring Kevin James and Thomas L. Friedman.

“The Tonight Show With Jay Leno” on NBC featuring Tom Cruise, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings.

“Jimmy Kimmel Live” on ABC featuring Adam Sandler and Drake.

“The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson” on CBS featuring Lisa Kudrow and James Dyson.

“Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” on David Spade, Beth Ostrosky, and MGMT.

“The Daily Show With Jon Stewart” on Comedy Central featuring Adam Sandler and Chris Rock.

“The Colbert Report” on Comedy Central featuring Michael Specter.
