I Know He's Not on This Season, But He's Nice to Look At.

Hump Day! I’m indescribably happy that the week is over halfway done now, since I’m that much closer to not having to spend my days around adolescents anymore. (Actual dialogue from today: “STOP HITTING EACH OTHER!” “We’re not!” “I DON’T BELIEVE YOU.” and “Get away from the counselor’s lunch table. We get a break during lunch time too.” I’m such a nice person.) I’m sure they’ll turn into lovely people one day, but right about now they’re just migraine inducing. In less self absorbed news, here’s your Wednesday night TV:

8:00 p.m.: “PBS Special: America’s Orchestra: Celebrating 125 Years of the Boston Pops” on PBS.

“So You Think You Can Dance” on Fox.

“Tyler Perry’s House of Payne” on TBS. I know y’all don’t like me mentioning this, but if I’m suffering this week so will all of you for whom the mere mention of Mr. Perry causes inexplicable levels of rage.

8:30 p.m.: “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne” on TBS.

9:00 p.m.: “America’s Got Talent” on NBC.

“Are We There Yet?” on TBS.

“Dog the Bounty Hunter” on A&E.

“Ghost Hunters Academy” on SyFy.

“I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant” on TLC.

“Man vs. Food” on TLC.

“Mythbusters” on Discovery.

“PBS Special: Harp Dreams” on PBS.

“Top Chef” on Bravo. I haven’t started watching this season yet, because I noticed last season that I tend to start out all “Yeah, ‘Top Chef!’” and by the middle of the season I’m bored with it and regularly skipping episodes. I decided to save myself the time this season, unless one of you wants to tell me it’s actually worth it.

“You’re Cut Off!” on VH1.

9:30 p.m.: “Are We There Yet?” on TBS.

“Dog the Bounty Hunter” on A&E.

“I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant” on TLC.

10:00 p.m.: “Jimmy Kimmel Live: Twilight Saga: Total Eclipse of the Heart” on ABC. One hour special presentation. This just makes me unhappy that “Total Eclipse of the Heart” is being slandered in the name of “Twilight.” I’ve heard like four versions of that song, including the literal video version, and I still think it’s amazing. “Twilight” is insipid at best.

“Hot in Cleveland” on TV Land.

“In Plain Sight” on USA.

“Inside Nascar” on Showtime.

“Peep Show” on BBCA. 4th season finale.

“Through the Wormhole With Morgan Freeman” on Science.

“Toddlers and Tiaras” on TLC.

“Work of Art: The Next Great Artist” on Bravo.

Late Night Listings:

“The Late Show With David Letterman” on CBS featuring Adam Sandler and Bettye Lavette.

“The Tonight Show With Jay Leno” on NBC featuring Jeremy Piven, Louis C.K, and Drake.

“Jimmy Kimmel Live” on ABC featuring Chris Rock, Ashley Greene, and Minus the Bear.

“The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson” on CBS featuring Julia Ormond and Jose Andres.

“Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” on NBC featuring Heidi Klum, Joshua Topolsky, and Macy Gray.

“The Daily Show With Jon Stewart” on Comedy Central featuring Dr. Connie Mariano.

“The Colbert Report” on Comedy Central featuring Tim Westergren.
