I’ve spent a lot of my day cleaning up my room here in my parents’ house which has caused me to be alternately annoyed by, proud of, and bewildered by the remnants of my teenaged self. Like a younger sister who’s smart and a little quirky, but you kind of want to grab by the shoulders and reassure that high school ends and the less you care about it at the time, the less you’ll be disappointed by that fact later. This is how I’m going to be spending a lot of my weekend. Should be fun. Here’s Thursday night’s TV:
8:00 p.m.: “Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night” on ABC. Special presentation.
“America’s Home Cooking: What’s For Dinner” on PBS. As those of you who have me on facebook know, what’s for dinner for me tonight is bacon pancakes. I expect my blood will actually congeal after this so it’s been nice knowing all of you.
8:30 p.m.: “100 Questions” on NBC.
“ABC Sports Special: NBA Countdown” on ABC. Special presentation.
9:00 p.m.: “Burn Notice” on USA.
“Modern Marvels: The Real National Treasure” on History. Is it Nic Cage’s hair?
“Police Women of Memphis” on TLC.
“The Real Housewives of New York City: The Reunion, Part 1” on Bravo. One hour special presentation. There is nothing about that sentence that I like.
“The Smoking Gun Presents: World’s Dumbest Criminals 21” on TruTV. Eighth season
“ABC Sports Special: NBA Finals, Game 4” on ABC. Special presentation.
10:00 p.m.: “Bethenny’s Getting Married?” on Bravo. Series premiere. Each day I do this job, I want to burn Bravo to the ground just a little bit more.
“Mall Cops: Mall of America” on TLC.
“The OCD Project” on VH1.
“Penn and Teller: Bullshit” on Showtime. Eighth season premiere. This week’s topic is cheerleaders. I’m not really sure how cheerleaders can be bullshit. I mean, they’re right there, doing their thing. What’s there to disprove?
“Royal Pains” on USA.
10:30 p.m.: “The Green Room with Paul Provenza” on Showtime. Series premiere.
Late Night Listings:
“Late Night With David Letterman” on CBS featuring Harry Connick Jr., Jaden Smith, and Peter Wolf.
