Pajiba After Dark: Love Hurts

The beginning of the endings has come on, with many shows having their season finales tonight and many more coming in the next few weeks. Some will hang on into June, but not many, and then we will face summer which does have a couple interesting prospects (I’m intrigued by “Wilfred” and curious if not hopeful about “Franklin and Bash”) but mostly a series of shows that weren’t worth putting in direct competition with shows who have a solid audience. So prepare now, load up your Netflix lists or shop for DVDs, maybe find a hobby or two to take you out of the house a couple evenings out of the week, or just resolve to sit around and pout. Up to you. Here’s your Monday night TV:

8:00pm: “90210” on The CW. Third season finale.

“Antiques Roadshow” on PBS

“Chuck” on NBC. Fourth season finale. Next season will be the final season which is, oddly, probably a relief for those of you who campaigned to save the show after the second season and then watched it head straight downhill.

“Dancing With the Stars” on ABC

“House” on Fox

“How I Met Your Mother” on CBS. Sixth season finale. Courtney has already taken to twitter to threaten a violent reaction if this episode does not go the way she wants it to. I’m not sure if I’m rooting FOR the outcome she wants because she’s a lovely person and I want to see her happy or AGAINST because I’d like to see the fantastic level of vitriol that will hit the internet afterwards. I suppose I will merely remain neutral and observe.

“The Secret Life of the American Teenager” on ABC Family

“WWE Tough Enough” on USA

8:30pm: “Kid in a Candy Store” on Food Network

“Mad Love” on CBS. First season finale.

9:00pm: “American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior” on Discovery

“The Chicago Code” on Fox

“Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives” on Food Network

“The Event” on NBC

“Fabulous Cakes: Chicago” on TLC

“Gossip Girl” on The CW. Fourth season finale.

“Make It or Break It” on ABC Family

“Off Limits” on Travel. Series premiere.

“Freedom Riders: American Experience” on PBS

“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” on Bravo. 90 minute third season premiere.

9:30pm: “Beverly Hills Fabulous” on VH1. First season finale.

“Mike and Molly” on CBS. First season finale.

10:00pm: “The Hard Times of RJ Berger” on MTV

“Hawaii Five-0” on CBS. First season finale. I’ve seen some commercials for this that are all “I’m not a cop anymore!” and “There is no more Five-0!” so I’m guessing this finale is serious business, y’all.

“Law and Order: Los Angeles” on NBC

“Meat and Potatoes” on Food Network

“Nurse Jackie” on Showtime

“Quints By Surprise” on TLC

“Sanctuary” on SyFy

“Setup Squad” on Logo

“Disorder in the Court’ on TruTV. In traditional “TruTV” fashion I’m assuming this will be an hour worth of people losing their shit in a courtroom as recorded by fuzzy and/or black and white security cameras that keep you from being able to discern what’s actually happening. Enjoy!

“Vanished with Beth Holloway” on Lifetime

“Castle” on ABC. Third season finale.

10:20pm: “James May’s Road Trip” on BBCA

10:30pm: “The Best Thing I Ever Ate” on Food Network. Fifth season premiere.

“Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory” on MTV

“The United States of Tara” on Showtime

Late Night Listings

“The Late Show with David Letterman” on CBS featuring Julianna Margulies, Andy Cohen, and White Lies

“The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on NBC featuring Eva Mendes, storm chaser Reed Timmer, and Tedeschi Trucks Band

“The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” on CBS featuring Robot skeleton sidekick Geoff Peterson and Simon Helberg

“Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” on NBC featuring Howie Mendel, the final three “Survivor” contestants, Cee-Lo Green, and Randy Newman

“The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” on Comedy Central featuring Jon Ronson

“The Colbert Report” on Comedy Central featuring Alison Klayman

“Chelsea Lately” on E featuring Kelly Osbourne, Fortune Feimster, John Caparulo, and Loni Love

“Conan” on TBS featuring Zach Galifianakis, Sig Hansen, and Raphael Saadiq
