Pajiba After Dark: Put Up or Shut Up

More NBA Playoffs tonight and depending on how one of these games goes, I may be very happy that my graduation ceremony tomorrow is not until 4pm in the afternoon. Although, frankly, I’m sort of on the side that Miami better make it to the finals after all the stupid publicity surrounding LeBron’s decision to come here and the whole “Three Kings” shit that was EVERYWHERE leading up to this basketball season. I’m not saying you should be able to buy a championship but frankly anything less than final round is going to be seen as abject failure for the Heat at this point. Oh, and there’s some other stuff on TV that I don’t care as much about also. Here’s your Wednesday night TV:

7:00pm: “NBA Playoffs: Boston at Miami, Game 5” on TNT

8:00pm: “American Idol” on Fox

“The Middle” on ABC

“Minute To Win It” on NBC

“Survivor” on CBS

8:30pm: “Better With You” on ABC. First season finale.

9:00pm: “America’s Next Top Model” on The CW

“Criminal Minds” on CBS

“Modern Family” on ABC

“Mythbusters” on Discovery

“The Ultimate Fighter” on SpikeTV

9:30pm: “Breaking In” on Fox

“Extreme Couponing” on TLC

“NBA Playoffs: Memphis at Oklahoma City, Game 5” on TNT

“Cougar Town” on ABC

10:00pm: “Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior” on CBS. I’m still trying to figure out why this is different from “Criminal Minds” aside from the cast. Actually, I think it’s kind of worse than “Criminal Minds” because it features neither Shemar Moore NOR Matthew Gray Gubler. The dialogue and story lines are comparable though, so if all you want to do is watch a show about serial killers that gets neatly resolved at the end of the hour then I guess this fits the bill.

“Happy Endings” on ABC

“Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” on NBC

“Saving the Bay” on PBS

“The Real World” on MTV

“South Park” on Comedy Central

“Spouse vs. House” on TLC. Apparently this is where couples work separately to create their dream house and then one has to move out leavind the partner to make every home improvement decision alone. So… it’s a show with the goal of causing divorces? Interesting concept, TLC.

“Top Chef Masters” on Bravo

“Tyler Perry’s House of Payne” on TBS

10:30pm: “Happy Endings” on ABC

“Workaholics” on Comedy Central

Late Night Listings

“The Late Show with David Letterman” on CBS featuring Keith Olbermann, Chaz Bono, and Ray LaMontagne

“The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on NBC featuring Dick Van Dyke, Khloe Kardashian & Lamar Odom, Steve Earle

“Jimmy Kimmel Live” on ABC featuring Chris O’Donnell, Ginnifer Goodwin, and Zac Brown Band

“Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” on CBS featuring Tim Meadows, and Colin Hay

“Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” on NBC featuring Keith Richards, Paul Bettany, Jennifer Hudson, and Jakob Dylan

“Last Call with Carson Daly” on NBC featuring Charles Bradley, Spencer Susser, and Grouplove

“The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” on Comedy Central featuring Albert Brooks

“The Colbert Report” on Comedy Central featuring James B. Stewart

“Conan” on TBS featuring Jon Hamm, Miranda Kerr, and Ke$ha
