There’s a bunch of NBA playoff stuff happening which always takes me a little bit by surprise and reminds me why I’m bad at watching sports; I just don’t have the attention span for it. And is hockey still going on? I think it is, which seems absurd to me. I like watching the Olympics and the World Cup because both of those take place in reasonable chunks of time. You spend a few weeks obsessing and then you can get back to your normal life! The concept of remaining rabidly devoted to sporting events for months on end just seems totally exhausting. Are any of you really into the NBA playoffs though? I was under the impression that most basketball fans prefer the NCAA and that no one really cared about the NBA Playoffs except people whose teams might win. And on that note, here’s your Wednesday night TV:
8:00pm: “American Idol” on Fox
“The Middle” on ABC
“Minute to Win It” on NBC
“Secrets of the Dead” on PBS

“Ghost Hunters” on SyFy. Seventh season spring finale.
“Saving Pelican 895” on HBO
“Jesus the Lost 40 Days” on History
“Modern Family” on ABC
“Mythbusters” on Discovery. Very few things give me the kind of joy that watching Adam in his Jamie costume dancing around the warehouse did. I’m so happy this show is back on I just can’t stand it sometimes.
“Nova: Power Surge” on PBS
“Operation Repo” on TruTV
“The Ultimate Fighter” on Spike TV
9:30pm: “Breaking In” on Fox
“Extreme Couponing” on TLC
“Cougar Town” on ABC
10:00pm: “Coal” on Spike TV

“Happy Endings” on ABC
“Hoarding: Buried Alive” on TLC. Second season finale.
“Justified” on FX
“Saving the Bay” on PBS
“The Real World” on MTV
“Top Chef Masters” on Bravo. The host of this show this season is that guy who used to be on the show “Take Home Chef” right? I watched a few episodes of that and I was always waiting for some husband to come home to see his wife there with a film crew, a grinning blonde Australian hunk, and come to some extremely not safe for daytime TV conclusions. It never happened. That I know of.
“Tori and Dead: Storibook Weddings” on Oxygen
Late Night Listings
“Jimmy Kimmel Live” on ABC featuring Robert Pattinson, Shailene Woodley, and Lenka
“The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” on CBS featuring Michael Clarke Duncan and Lena Headey
“Chelsea Lately” on E featuring Ziggy Marley, Lavell Crawford, Chris Hardwick, and Loni Love
“Conan” on TBS featuring Tyler Perry, Morgan Spurlock, and the Strokes
