How Many Times Can You Type "Bracket" Before It Looks Weird?

Spring begins in a few days for the Northern Hemisphere, so I hope everyone out there is getting ready to pack up the parkas and bring out the sandals. I have to say that living in Miami deprives me of one of the great transformations of spring; when people don’t have to wear parkas, boots, and sweaters around anymore so everyone starts looking like humans and not like marshmallow creatures or those funny little plastic dolls you give toddlers that are kind of egg shaped Anyway, I hope this weekend finds the Pajibans shedding their winter drudgery, even though we all know that putting away the sweaters and coats only ensures that the final cold snap of winter will happen three days later. Here’s Thursday night’s TV:

7:00pm: “NCAA Basketball Championship, First Round” on CBS. Special five hour presentation. I hope all of you have your brackets ready! I mean, I don’t, but that doesn’t mean y’all shouldn’t fill out a gussied up flow chart for funsies.

8:00pm: “Community” on NBC

“Flash Forward” on ABC. A two hour first season spring premiere. I guess we’ll find out what the ramifications are of Not-Ralph Fiennes getting kicked out of the FBI when in his “Flash Forward” he was totally IN the FBI. Or probably not, because this show moves at the speed of stupid.

8:30pm: “Parks and Recreation” on NBC

9:00pm: “Afghan Star” on HBO. This is a documentary about the version of “American Idol” that happens in Afghanistan. It actually sounds pretty interesting.

“The Office” on NBC

9:30pm: “30 Rock” on NBC

10:00pm: “Archer” on FX. First season finale. WHAT?!? Too soon! At least the show’s on Hulu now so I can catch up.

“Celebrity Rehab Presents: Sober House” on VH1

“The Marriage Ref” on NBC

“Project Runway” on Lifetime

“Randy Jackson Presents America’s Best Dance Crew” on MTV

“The Real Housewives of New York City” on Bravo
