Last day here at SXSW and while I’m sad to be leaving the awesome people, I am happy to be going back to Miami which is properly warm and without the nosebleed inducing levels of dryness. I’m one of the rare people you’ll meet who’s much happier when there’s a certain level of humidity and Austin has exactly none. However, I have to get this finished and head out the door (I’ve finally given up on carting my laptop around with me everywhere and found out what the iPad is good for, not that I have an iPad) so here’s your Tuesday night TV:
8:00pm: “The Biggest Loser” on NBC
“Glee” on Fox. They’re singing an original song this week which they’ve been using as a selling point. I remain skeptical.
“Onion Sportsdome” on Comedy Central. First season finale.
“Eat & Cook Healthy! With Dr.John Lapuma” on PBS
9:00pm: “Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern” on Travel
“Breaking Down the Bars” on OWN
“Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?” on WE. First season finale.
“Only In America with Larry the Cable Guy” on History
“NCAA Basketball Tournament: First Four” on TruTV. Special presentation. Hope all of you have your brackets filled in! I don’t, mostly because I don’t remember a lot of these teams exist until around this time of year.
“V” on ABC. Second season finale.
“What Not to Wear” on TLC
“Raising Hope” on Fox. Starting two minutes late because god forbid we cut some commercials out of “Glee” or actually hold it to a proper running time.
9:30pm: “Traffic Light” on Fox
10:00pm: “American Treasures” on Discovery
“African Hunting Holiday with Louis Theroux” on BBCA
“The Game” on BET
“Lights Out” on FX
“One Born Every Minute” on Lifetime
“Our America with Lisa Ling” on OWN
“The Real Housewives of Miami” on Bravo
“Teen Mom” om MTV
“Top Shot” on History
“Tosh.0” on Comedy Central
“Detroit 187” on ABC
10:30pm: “The Comedy Central Roast of Donald Trump” on Comedy Central. The actual event took place a few days ago, so obviously there’s been some leaks about the program including at least one hideously offensive joke made by that one guy from “Jersey Shore” and since I doubt they let that idiot up there on his own, I’m wondering who scripted it. And if they thought the joke was funny or if they were deliberately trying to get the guy in trouble. Anyway, like most of the Roasts, I’m pretty sure this will be more funny in theory than execution. Anticipate a lot of hair jokes.
