Pajiba After Dark: It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's a Chef!
I haven’t been feeling well today, which meant I spent most of the morning and afternoon having the kind of strange dreams that I remember for about five minutes and then forget completely except for random bits that end up in conversation somehow and make me look crazy. I don’t remember my normal dreams at all, generally, but sick dreams/fever dreams stick with me for long periods of time making me concerned about my mental state. I’ll keep myself from mentioning details, but one seemed to center around a parking garage. Here’s your Wednesday night TV:
8:00pm: “American Idol” on Fox
“America’s Next Top Model” on The CW. 16th season premiere.
“The Middle” on ABC
“Minute to Win It” on NBC
“Nova: Sciencenow” on PBS
“Survivor” on CBS
8:30pm: “Better With You” on ABC
“Throwdown with Bobby Flay” on Food Network
9:00pm: “Criminal Minds” on CBS
“Ghost Hunters” on SyFy. Seventh season premiere.
“Man vs. Food” on Travel. Another meat episode, I think the host’s arteries must be made of cholesterol at this point. Unless anytime he’s not on camera he doesn’t eat anything but fresh fruits and whole grains. I wonder the same thing about Paula Deen sometimes.
“Minute to Win It” on NBC
“Modern Family” on ABC
“Nova: Venom” on PBS
“Operation Repo” on TruTV
“Shedding for the Wedding” on The CW. Series premiere. Hosted by Sara Rue, that lovely girl who was in those somewhat tragic Jenny Craig commercials recently. I’m not saying it’s tragic she lost weight, if she wanted to and did it in a healthy way then good for her, I’m saying it’s tragic that anyone felt they couldn’t leave the house because they didn’t fit into a certain pair of jeans. Buy bigger jeans and get out there, no one makes their life better sitting at home, you know? Anyway, she’s hosting this latest installment in the get skinny on TV genre.
“Sons of Guns” on Discovery
9:30pm: “Mr.Sunshine” on ABC
10:00pm: “Are We There Yet” on TBS
“Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior” on CBS
“Desert Car Kings” on Discovery
“Face Off” on SyFy
“I Used To Be Fat” on MTV
“Justified” on FX
“Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” on NBC
“Off the Map” on ABC
“Restaurant: Impossible” on Food Network. Does Robert Irvine sort of look like a super-hero to anyone else? Between the physique and the glasses I half expect him to whip the glasses off, tear open that black tee shirt and reveal himself to be, I don’t know, the Culinary Avenger! I may watch too much Food Network.
“Toddlers and Tiaras” on TLC. Third season finale.
“Top Chef” on Bravo
