Funny Later, Busy Now
Monday rolls around and brings with it all sorts of responsibilities and obligations. As such, this will be a very short intro to Pajiba After Dark because in my case those responsibilities and obligations include two tests and a presentation tomorrow and a project due Thursday. So, without further equivocating, here’s your Monday night line up:
8:00 p.m.: “The Bachelor” on ABC.
“King Tut Unwrapped: Life and Death” on Discovery. I swear there’s a new week-long series on King Tut every year, and I’m beginning to suspect that much of the footage and information is recycled.
“Olympic Winter Games” on NBC. Tonight is the last night of ice dancing and if you did not catch last night’s “Original Dance” on the theme of “Country or Folk” then you missed… something. I’m pretty sure no one is handing out cultural sensitivity awards to any of the ice dancers, that’s for damn sure. Also, I think team ski jumping has their gold medal event tonight.
“One Tree Hill” on The CW.
“The Secret Life of the American Teenager” on ABC Family. Just watch “Teen Mom” on MTV, it gets the point across much more bluntly and with better line readings.
“Top Gear” on BBCA. Guest this week is Sienna Miller.
9:00 p.m.: “24” on Fox.
“Cake Boss” on TLC. It’s a special “best of” show.
“Celebrity Fit Club” on VH1.
“Life Unexpected” on The CW.
“Make it or Break it” on ABC Family.
“Operation Repo” on TruTV.
“RuPaul’s Drag Race” on Logo. I’m waiting for Johnny Weir to show up as a guest judge. Man could give seminars on fierce.
9:30 p.m.: “Operation Repo” on TruTV.
10:00 p.m.: “The Buried Life” on MTV.
“Damages” on FX.
“Fantasia For Real” on VH1.
“Greek” on ABC Family.
“Kell on Earth” on Bravo. I’m wondering if Kelly Cutrone got her own show because she’s awesome in her own right or because that chick from “The Hills” worked for her and someone was like “hey, she’s way more interesting than anything happening on ‘The Hills’” which is 100% not hard to do but whatever. If it’s the second that would make me kind of sad, because Ms.Cutrone is a very accomplished woman and deserves better than that.
“Men of a Certain Age” on TNT. First season finale.
“RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked” on Logo.
“Secret Diary of a Call Girl” on Showtime.
