If Anything, I'd Like to Know LESS About Her

The past couple weeks I’ve been hearing a lot about the snow happening up north on the news and internet and facebook and basically any time I interact with someone who isn’t located south of Jacksonville and for some reason the news seems to be treating the whole thing as a massive disaster. Now, it’s been a while since I spent an entire winter somewhere that’s not sub-tropical (the winter of 2008-2009 to be specific) but… doesn’t show happen most winters? Isn’t it like, winter weather? And since it’s winter it’s not really super surprising that there’s snow and cold happening? I’m not saying that it isn’t frustrating and difficult to work around but is that so different than any other year? Let me know, because I’m obviously not getting it. Here’s your Wednesday night TV:

8:00pm: “American Idol” on Fox

“Howe and Howe Tech” on Discovery. Second season finale.

“Live to Dance” on CBS

“Minute to Win It” on NBC

“Mystery Diagnosis” on OWN

“Nova: Sciencenow: How Does the Brain Work?” on PBS

8:30pm: “Throwdown with Bobby Flay” on Food Network

9:00pm: “Friday Night Lights” on DirecTV

“Ghost Hunters International” on SyFy

“Bigfoot: The Definitive Guide” on History

“Human Target” on Fox

“Inside the NFL” on Showtime

“Man vs. Food” on Travel

“Minute to Win It” on NBC

“My Strange Addiction” on TLC. One of the addictions is “can’t stop cleaning” which sounds less like an addiction and more like a form of OCD but I’m not an expert by any means. Actually, most of these “addictions” aren’t actually addictions but seem to be some form of mental illness (mostly pica, people eating weird shit never gets old). I’m onto you, TLC.

“Nova: Making Stuff Cleaner” on PBS. And this sounds like something that cleaning addicted woman from the show above should watch! After all, if you’re going to be cleaning anyway best to be cleaning more effectively.

“Operation Repo” on TruTV

9:30pm: “Cougar Town” on ABC

10:00pm: “Are We There Yet” on TBS

“Blue Bloods” on CBS

“Clean House” on Style

“Desert Car Kings” on Discovery

“E True Hollywood Story: Kate Gosselin” on E. What the hell is the point of doing a “True Hollywood Story” on this woman? First of all, she’s not Hollywood. Lady is from central PA last I checked, which is a lie because I didn’t check because I don’t care about her or her weird husband and pile of kids. The more obvious problem, though, is that she’s a damn reality show star. How much “behind the scenes” can they come up with on someone whose job is being followed around by cameras? This is why I drink. Well, also because rum and wine and things like that are tasty. It’s a win-win situation.

“Face Off” on SyFy

“I Used to be Fat” on MTV

“Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” on NBC

“Miracle Detectives” on OWN

“Off the Map” on ABC

“Restaurant: Impossible” on Food Network

“Toddlers and Tiaras” on TLC

“Top Chef” on Bravo

Late Night Listings

“The Late Show with David Letterman” on CBS featuring Kate Walsh, Jim Gaffigan, and Boxer Rebellion

“The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on NBC featuring Jesse Eisenberg, Jennifer Lawrence, and Ryan Bingham

“Jimmy Kimmel ABC” featuring Josh Brolin, Camille Grammer, and Tinie Tempah

“The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” on CBS featuring Jim Parsons and Kurt Metzger

“Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” on NBC featuring Samuel L. Jackson, Larry the Cable Guy, and Phantogram

“Last Call with Carson Daly” on NBC featuring Rich Eisen, The Meltdown, and Screaming Females

“The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” on Comedy Central featuring Matthew Perry

“The Colbert Report” on Comedy Central featuring Sean Kelly

“Chelsea Lately” on E featuring Rachel Bilson, Bill Bellamy, Chris Franjola, and Whitney Cummings

“Conan” on TBS featuring Kobe Bryant, Camilla Belle, and Jamie Kilstein
