The coverage of the Olympics is beginning to have a severe impact on my levels of productivity, which is bad news since it’s only day four of 17. Honestly though, right now I’m watching Women’s Cross Country skiing. I know diddly squat about cross country skiing but somehow it’s VERY IMPORTANT to me that I watch and become engrossed in the competitors based on what the announcers are telling me. Its like a sickness. However, from facebook and twitter, I know that I am not alone among the Pajibans in this affliction. Of course, if the Olympics aren’t your thing you can always get into the Cannonball Read Day spirit and spend your evening with a book! I might be doing a bit of that myself since I’m less than 100 pages from the end of the 771 page MONSTER that I’ve been reading for the past two weeks and I just want it to be over with. Anyway, here are the television offerings for the evening:
8:00pm: “Antiques Roadshow” on PBS
“The Bachelor” on ABC
“Olympic Winter Games” on NBC. There is ample evidence that NBC is a little spotty on what “Live!” means, but they keep advertising that tonight is “Live!” so we’ll see. On the program appears to be the free skate portion of Pairs Figure Skating, finals in Men’s snowboard cross, and Men’s 500M speed skating. That’s for the Eastern Time Zone, anyway. I make no promises for anyone else.
“One Tree Hill” on The CW
“The Secret Life of the American Teenager” on ABC Family
“Top Gear” on BBCA. The guest appears to be Usain Bolt.
“134th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show: Opening Night” on USA. Doggies!
9:00pm: “24” on Fox
“Celebrity Fit Club” on VH1. This season looks like an epic mess. I can’t bring myself to watch, but I hope those of you who are enjoy yourselves.
“Intervention” on A&E
“Life Unexpected” on The CW
“Make It or Break It” on ABC Family
“Operation Repo” on TruTV. Nothing’s more entertaining than watching fake, re-enacted repossessions!
“RuPaul’s Drag Race” on Logo
9:30pm: “Operation Repo” on TruTV
10:00pm: “The Buried Life” on MTV
“Damages” on FX
“Fantasia For Real” on VH1
“Greek” on ABC Family
“Hoarders” on A&E. This one is listed as being two different couples, so I guess that means that both parties in the couple are hoarders. Give the kind of carnage that can result from one hoarder in an average sized house, I’m terrified to see what TWO hoarders can do if they work together.
“Keeping Up With The Kardashians” on E!. New episode on a special night.
“Kell on Earth” on Bravo
“Men of a Certain Age” on TNT
“RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked” on Logo
“Secret Diary of a Call Girl” on Showtime
