As it is December 22nd, it’s now the traditional time for my brother, sister, and I to get around to doing our Christmas shopping. Actually, I got most of mine out of the way on… Friday. So I’m ahead of the curve! Last year I started earlier, but last year I was also hand making gifts since I didn’t have finals and flights and whatnot. But to all the rest of you doing last minute shopping, I salute you and want you to know that I share your pain. Also I may or may not have some Christmas cards left to send. And write. Um… I’m bad at holidays. Also bad at holidays? Television. Here’s what’s on tonight:
8:00pm: “The Sing Off” on NBC, the 1st season finale. Didn’t this show just start like two weeks ago? That’s kind of ridiculous.
“Top Gear: Top Gear Polar Special” on BBC America, it’s a special one hour presentation.
8:30pm: “Monday Night Football: New York Giants at Washington Indigenous Peoples” on ESPN
9:00pm: “The Closer” on TNT, 5th season finale so load up on your terrible southern accent “whell fur heeven’s sahke”-ing it’s way around a crime scene while you can.
“Find My Family” on ABC
“Intervention” on A&E
“TLC Special: Little Chocolatiers” on TLC, now THAT’S the TLC we all know and shake our heads disapprovingly at.
10:00pm: “Hoarders” on A&E. Just in time for the holidays! Because what we all need at this time of year is something that will drive us into a fear-fueled cleaning frenzy.
“The Jay Leno Show” on NBC
“Men of a Certain Age” on TNT
