Not Quite So Cuddly In Real Life
Today is my last day of classes and, accordingly, I seem to be sick. Not like, sniffly sneezy sick, but more achy, overly tired but having weird dreams sick which tends to be how I manifest having the flu. Though it’s hard for me to say because I haven’t had the flu since I was about nine and I can’t really remember it since I ran a scary fever and slept for about 36 hours. If it were about a week later I’d be perfectly fine to spend most of my time in bed with a pile of books, only getting up to get more water and/or chicken soup. However, that is not the case. So, I’ll be heading out shortly to stock up on some of that noxious five hour energy stuff, fruit juice and whatever amphetamine-like diet pills have somehow managed to escape being banned by the FDA to boost myself up for the next few days. Here’s the TV that will keep me company through tonight’s marathon research paper session:
8:00pm: “Bones” on Fox
“Community” on NBC
“The Santa Suit” on Hallmark. Original telefilm.
“The This Old House Hour” on PBS
“Thursday Night college Football: Arizona State at Arizona” on ESPN. 14th season finale. Everyone reading for bowl season, which I still don’t understand and have no intention of trying to? Good!
“Thursday Night Football: Houston Texans at Philadelphia Eagles” on NFL Network
“The Vampire Diaries” on The CW
8:30pm: “30 Rock” on NBC
9:00pm: “Ancient Aliens” on History
“The Kennedy Detail” on Discovery. Because if there’s one area of American history that has not yet been thoroughly picked over, it’s the Kennedys.
“Fringe” on Fox
“Grey’s Anatomy” on ABC
“Nikita” on The CW
“The Office” on NBC
“America’s Home Cooking: Chocolate” on PBS
“Police Women of Dallas” on TLC
9:30pm: “Outsourced” on NBC
10:00pm: “The Apprentice” on NBC
“Brad Meltzer’s Decoded: The White House” on History. Series premiere.
“Burn Notice” on USA
“Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files” on SyFy. They’re covering the lunar landing tonight, which has already been covered by the Mythbusters and frankly, is not going to convince the people who are certain it was faked anyway. They’ll just say that NASA got to the producers of the show. It’s one of those arguments you’re just not going to win.
“Food Fueds” on Food Network
“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” on FX
“Pranked” on MTV
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” on Bravo
“Private Practice” on ABC
10:30pm: “Bully Beatdown” on MTV
“The League” on FX
Late Night Listings
“The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on NBC featuring Jane Fonda, Ian Somerhalder, and Paul Reiser & Julia Fordham
“Jimmy Kimmel Live” on ABC featuring James Franco, Alyson Hannigan, and Darius Rucker
“The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” on CBS featuring Cedric the Entertainer and Norah Jones
“The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” on Comedy Central featuring Stacey Schiff
“The Colbert Report” on Comedy Central featuring David Stockman
“Chelsea Lately” on E featuring Kate Bosworth, Matt Braunger, John Caparulo, and Diablo Cody
“Conan” on TBS featuring Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian, Kevin Nealon, and Deerhunter
